“As Above, So Below.”
You’ve probably heard this ad nauseum. Most faiths have some tenet that feels very like this concept – that the world we perceive and/or co-create is a reflection of Divinity. And so it is. But there MUST be balance. We have been created in a reflection of Divinity. But we also Create and so Divinity is re-created in our own reflection.
In Spring, we have the opportunity to celebrate a balance point – in moving from the dark to the light, they share the stage equally – momentarily in balance. Light replaces dark. Life replaces death. Up replaces down. Outward replaces inward.
Please join us on Saturday, March 19, at 7:00 p.m. (gather at 6:30) to dance the dance of the stars, the dance of existence. We will be dancing – physically and/or spiritually and/or emotionally, so be prepared to move SOMEthing – your body, your viewpoint, or simply the air around you. We will be chanting, drumming/timekeeping, and/or moving (as your abilities permit). Bring drum(s) or other music-makers if you choose, and consider apparel which feels “balanced” to you.
A pot-luck feast will follow. Please be prepared to recite your ingredients (or label your dish). Blessed Equinox! –Suki
