Bisexual Viking idol marks ancient circle

"An ancient wooden carving of the bisexual Viking god Odin has been linked to a prehistoric timber circle monument excavated in Britain, according to U.K. archaeologists.

The idol was built at the same time as a circle of wood monuments constructed thousands of years ago on Holme beach in Norfolk, England. Archaeologists suggest that the monument, called 'Seahenge', and another, even older, structure may have included other totem pole-like carvings."

Religion In Process Of Changing Says Texas A&M University Prof

"COLLEGE STATION - Religion, as an institution, will change dramatically in the coming years, thanks to the communications revolution and an increased emphasis on tolerance, says a Texas A&M University philosophy professor who has studied religion for the past 40 years.
Professor Richard W. Stadelmann said people are picking and choosing their religious ideals and beliefs from a variety of religions, customizing their own personal belief system, - resulting in what he terms "designer religion."
This change is occurring as people's preferences for stricter, fundamentalist beliefs systems shift to more tolerant and accepting beliefs systems, he said. "
