Beltane Threshold Ritual: Crossing into Becoming

At Beltane, we stand at a sacred threshold—the turning from spring toward summer, when life begins to take form and the boundary between worlds is said to grow thin. In this liminal space, the visible and invisible draw closer, and what has been gives way to what is emerging. In this ritual, we will gather in a circle “between worlds” and work with a symbolic threshold marked by fire and living greenery.

Each participant will be invited to release what is ready to be left behind, enter the fertile space of uncertainty and possibility, name what is emerging within them, and cross the threshold in a moment of embodied transition. This is not about forcing change, but about listening deeply and participating in what is already unfolding. You are invited to come as you are—and to step, consciously, into becoming.

What to bring
• Potluck food to share, if you can do so without difficulty. Please label your offering (meat, vegetarian, vegan, ingredients).

• Your own silverware, cup, and plate suitable for a picnic if you can (we will have some disposables if you can’t do this)
